International transportation will be developed in cooperation with Spain

    On May 27, the Ministry of Transport held the first meeting of the Joint Committee on International Road Transport between the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

    At a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility of Spain, the parties discussed aspects related to the development of freight transport by road.

    The parties exchanged statistical data on the indicator of cargo transportation by road between the two countries. The types of permits required for freight transportation for 2024 were also agreed upon.

    In order to increase the volume of cargo transportation along the Southern Trans-Caspian Corridor through the effective use of Spain's transit capabilities, the parties considered organizing meetings in the B2B format with the participation of major carriers of the two countries.

    Following the meeting, the protocol of the joint committee on international road transport between the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Uzbekistan was signed.
