An earthquake was felt again in Tashkent and other regions of Uzbekistan

Today, March 23, at 07:53 Tashkent time, an earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred in Tajikistan. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 216 km in the south-east direction.

According to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the strength of tremors in Uzbekistan amounted to:

Syrdarya region: 2-3 points, 152 km;
Jizzakh region: 2 points, 188 km;
Ferghana region: 2 points, 204 km;
Tashkent: 2 points, 216 km;
Namangan region: 2 points, 242 km.
