Representatives
of the Tashkent city khokimiyat, the Main Directorate for Emergency Situations
of the capital and other relevant services promptly arrived at the scene.
Currently, specialists are carrying out the necessary work to eliminate the
consequences and strengthen the coastline.
A special
interdepartmental headquarters has been set up to coordinate actions, which
monitors the progress of emergency recovery activities.
According
to the city authorities, residential buildings, infrastructure facilities and
other structures were not damaged as a result of the incident. There is no
threat to residents of nearby territories.
The
khokimiyat of Tashkent stressed that the situation is under full control, and
all necessary measures to ensure safety and prevent further destruction are
being taken promptly.
