According to the agency, the fire occurred on the morning of May 1 in a sintepon production shop located on Kushbegi Street in the Yakkasarai district of the capital. The fire was reported at 07:01, and three minutes later, at 07:04, fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene.
The fire was localized at 07:45 and completely eliminated at 08:09.
As a result of extinguishing the fire and examining the scene, the bodies of two victims were found. In addition, five citizens with injuries of varying degrees were hospitalized.
The preliminary version of the cause of the fire is a violation of the technological process in production.
11 basic and 6 specialized units of firefighting equipment were involved to eliminate the fire.
The fire damaged the roof, floors and products on an area of about 700 sq. m.
A preliminary investigation has been launched into the incident. The leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the city of Tashkent, responsible employees of the district offices of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health and the Prosecutor's Office went to the scene.
