A document on the exchange of experience in the field of effective management was signed in Tashkent

    On November 28, an international forum on eliminating bureaucracy was held in Tashkent in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the opening of the forum.

    In his speech, the Head of state stressed that special attention is being paid to eliminating bureaucracy, red tape and other administrative barriers for the population and businesses. In recent years, our country has adopted 9 decrees and resolutions aimed at eliminating bureaucracy. Public service Centers, a single Portal, and a Digital Government system have been created. To date, the number of public services has reached 1,040.

    "The goal of eliminating bureaucracy is based on the most important principle: every decision, every service, every process must serve the interests of a person," the President noted.

    During the forum, specific measures were discussed and important agreements were reached. In particular, the Governments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of effective governance.

    The document was signed by Sardor Umurzakov, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Strategic Development, and Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Ghargawi, Minister of Government Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.

    The Memorandum is aimed at developing e-government and expanding the possibilities of providing public services, improving governance, strengthening institutional capacity and professional skills. The document is concluded for 5 years with the possibility of extending the term and expanding the areas of cooperation by mutual agreement of the parties.
