The France-Uzbekistan Economic Chamber currently unites more than 50 French companies and entrepreneurs, as well as their Uzbek partners.
The Chamber maintains relations with government agencies of both countries and advises them in order to improve the business climate. The Chamber also actively acts as a defender of the interests of French and Uzbek entrepreneurs who are part of it.
During the event, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of the activities of French companies in Uzbekistan in such priority areas as agriculture, tourism, mining, energy, etc.
The readiness to provide comprehensive support to both sides in the further development of mutually beneficial projects was voiced.
On the sidelines of the event, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and President of the Uzbekistan-France Economic Chamber Joan Gola signed a memorandum of cooperation, which identified specific mechanisms for further cooperation within the framework of the Chamber's priority areas of activity.
