During the event, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov and Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Turchin delivered speeches, emphasizing the consistent development of strategic partnership between the two countries.

As it was noted, thanks to the regular dialogue between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, cooperation in almost all areas has reached a qualitatively new level.

It was also noted at the forum that the volume of mutual trade is steadily growing and approaching $ 1 billion.

The forum discussed issues of expanding trade and economic ties, deepening industrial cooperation, implementing joint investment projects and localizing production facilities. Special attention is paid to cooperation in the fields of mechanical engineering, agricultural machinery, food industry, pharmaceuticals, textiles, petrochemicals, logistics and woodworking.

In addition, the entrepreneurs held negotiations in B2B and B2G formats, during which issues of signing new contracts and investment agreements were considered.

The Forum has become an important platform for strengthening direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries and implementing new joint projects.
