The situation with measles on the territory of Uzbekistan does not cause concern, no cases of this disease have been recorded recently.
This was reported to TASS by the press secretary of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service of Uzbekistan, Maftun Saidova.
"The situation with measles in Uzbekistan does not cause concern, no cases of this disease have been recorded recently, however, given the outbreak of measles in some neighboring countries, preventive measures have been strengthened in the republic, especially in a number of border regions," M. Saidova said.
