Starting in 2025, the "Most Exemplary Green Tourism Facility" competition will be held annually in November. The document approves the Regulations on the procedure for conducting the competition.

The main objectives of the competition:

· reducing the use of plastic products and waste in tourism facilities;

· facilitating the transition from single-use plastic to environmentally friendly (biodegradable) products in tourism facilities and their use;

· achieving compliance with environmental requirements and environmental criteria in the field of technical regulation;

· support for innovative solutions and promising initiatives aimed at protecting the environment and ecology at tourism facilities.

The competition consists of regional qualifying and republican final stages.

The winners of the republican final stage of the competition will be awarded a one-time cash prize.:

· 1st place - 150 BRV;

· 2nd place - 100 BRV;

· 3rd place - 50 BRV.
