In accordance with the Decree:

The Agency for Information and Mass Communications was abolished, its tasks and functions for control and monitoring in the field of information were transferred to the Inspectorate for Control in the Field of Informatization and Telecommunications.;

The Center for Mass Communications has been transferred to the subordination of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

An Agency for the Control of Drugs and Firearms has been established on the basis of the National Center for Drug Control;

A Content Preparation Center for mass media has been established on the basis of the Media Center of the Administration's Press Service.;

The Agency for Management Efficiency has been established on the basis of the Agency for Civil Service Development;

The Fund for the Development of Culture and Art under the Cabinet of Ministers has been transferred to the subordination of the Administration.

By September 1, 2025, draft regulatory legal acts will be developed providing for:

Improving the efficiency of republican and local executive authorities aimed at eliminating bureaucratic barriers, eliminating duplicate control functions, and ensuring transparency and openness in decision-making.;

further expansion of the economic, administrative and financial powers of local khokimiyats for the integrated development of regions, ensuring employment and increasing incomes of the population.
