A new system of training and passing driver's license exams has been approved in Uzbekistan

    A Government decree was adopted "On measures to radically improve the system of examination, training, retraining and advanced training of drivers of motor vehicles" (No. 393 of 20.07.2022).

    According to the Decree, according to the plan, the training load for driver training will be up to 20 hours a week, up to 4 hours a day.

    Certificates of advanced training of drivers are issued only in electronic form.

    Practical exams use cars made no more than five years ago for category "B" and no more than 10 years for other categories.

    Training programs are developed and approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Theoretical examination animation questions of a single sample are approved in the amount of at least 1000.

    A unified automated information system of the Road Safety Service will be launched by January 1, 2023.

    From November 1, 2022, a single electronic database of medical data for drivers will be formed and integrated into a single information system, the Ministry of Justice reports.
