According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, 390 thousand tons of automobile gasoline were produced in Uzbekistan in January-April 2025.
The volume of production of certain types of industrial products in January-April 2025:
· coal – 1.8 million tons;
· oil – 214.3 thousand tons;
· natural gas – 15 billion cubic meters;
· gas condensate – 395.2 thousand tons;
· trucks – 1,212 units;
· automobile engines – 87,657 units;
· passenger cars (except specialized ones) – 122,384 units.
As part of the fulfillment of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to provide the population with high-quality fuel products at affordable prices, the Bukhara Oil Refinery is gradually reducing prices for AI-92 gasoline.
On August 14, the Russian government extended the ban on gasoline exports until the end of 2024. The Cabinet of Ministers explained the decision by the need to maintain a stable situation during the period of seasonal demand and scheduled repairs at oil refineries.
According to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, monthly monetary compensation is allocated to certain categories of persons to cover part of the cost of purchasing gasoline.
As you know, the government has determined the transition to the production of high-octane gasoline of the Euro-5 class and the abandonment of the AI-80 gasoline of the Euro-2 class, through the implementation of the modernization project of the Bukhara oil Refinery.
Uzbekistan, within the framework of an intergovernmental agreement, began importing gasoline from the Russian Federation in November. This was announced by the Minister of Energy of the Republic Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov.
On the eve of the upcoming holiday, spring discounts on AI-92 gasoline are announced in the UNG Petro gas station network. Now its cost will be 7,500 soums for 1 liter of fuel.
On December 26, 2022, 4.2 thousand tons of AI-80 gasoline were produced, in particular 3.2 thousand tons at the Bukhara Refinery and 1.0 thousand tons at the Fergana Refinery.
