The project was created to promote the modern image of the country on the international and national information platform. The main goal of the platform is to provide wide access to professional photo and video materials reflecting the rich cultural heritage, natural diversity, tourism potential and dynamic development of Uzbekistan.
Today, a database of about 6 terabytes has been created on the platform's servers. More than 12,000 professional photos, videos, and infographics are already available to users, and the archive is updated daily with an average of 200 new pieces of content.
When creating the media bank, materials from the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, information services of ministries and departments, as well as the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA) were used. As a result, a large-scale collection of high-quality content created with government support has been collected and systematized on the platform.
The platform offers users a number of modern features:
High-resolution content - HD, Full HD, 4K and above;
photos and videos without logos, watermarks or unnecessary graphic elements;
video content in both horizontal 16:9 format and vertical 9:16 format;
a convenient search engine with filtering by region, season, time of day and thematic areas.
The materials are divided into various categories, including history, culture, art, sports, nature, national traditions, urbanism, and tourist sites. Separate sections are devoted to the concept of the New Uzbekistan and important state events.
A special feature of the project is its openness to the creative community. Photographers, videographers and other authors will be able to post their own materials on the platform. In the future, it is also planned to introduce a content monetization system.
The creators of the project note that Aura.uz It is intended to become not only the largest visual database about Uzbekistan, but also a convenient tool for journalists, bloggers, designers, representatives of the media industry and anyone involved in creating high-quality content.
