At the meeting, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov put forward a number of proposals aimed at developing cooperation in the field of transport between the member countries of the organization.

In particular, he noted the need for:

institutions at the next meeting of heads of railway administrations within the framework of the Organization of the Council of Railway Departments and determine its main functions and tasks;

acceleration of the process of digitalization of customs clearance procedures for goods and shipping documents through projects such as E-Permit, E-TIR, E-Transit;

creating favorable conditions for international road transport by simplifying visa procedures, reducing various fees and charges, increasing the number of quotas of permit forms.

Following the results of the 7th meeting of the Ministers of Transport of the OTG member countries, a Communique was signed.
