During the meeting, Hassan Kleib highly appreciated the attention paid by the Government of Uzbekistan to the development of the innovation ecosystem. In this regard, the World Intellectual Property Organization expressed its readiness to support small and medium-sized businesses, youth and women within the framework of the organization's programs.

In particular, an agreement was reached to train exporters, startups and business representatives in the field of intellectual property commercialization and solving socio-economic problems within the framework of the WIPO Academy and Summer School programs, as well as to support them within the framework of the WIPO IP Diagnostics program.

In addition, the parties agreed to develop an action plan for cooperation between the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Uzbek delegation also got acquainted with the activities of Campus Biotech, the world's leading center for biotechnology and life sciences in Switzerland, and the research conducted there, the press service of the Ministry of Innovation reports.
