In particular, there are cooperation agreements on exporting local
electrical engineering products from Uzbekistan to the city of Aleppo in Syria.
To develop these partnership relations, in June of this year, the Embassy
of Uzbekistan in Syria organized a visit by Ahmad Kalash, head of the Syrian
company "Kalash Trading," to the city of Tashkent.
Following the negotiations held during the visit, an export contract with a
total value of 5 million US dollars was signed between the "Premier
Electrotech" joint venture in the Tashkent region and the Syrian company.
