After that,

epitome of the spiritual greatness of the New Uzbekistan. The monument depicts
images of our great ancestors who made a great contribution to the development
of world civilization.
Laying
flowers, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic bowed his head in front of
the complex and paid deep respect to the memory of our ancestors who devoted
their lives to the development of the Motherland, the welfare of the people, as
well as to the service of science and education.
An
Uzbek-Czech business Forum was held in Tashkent as part of the official visit
of Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrei Babis to our country.
The event
was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and
Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrei Babis.
The forum
brought together representatives of leading industrial enterprises, investment
companies and financial structures of the two countries. In particular, the
Czech delegation was represented by the heads of more than 50 large companies
operating in the machine-building, energy, pharmaceutical, chemical, and
transport and logistics sectors.
It was
noted that over the past eight years, the volume of trade between Uzbekistan
and the Czech Republic has doubled. Currently, there are 36 joint ventures with
Czech capital operating in the country. Among the successful areas of
cooperation are pharmaceuticals, the food industry, the production of building
materials and tourism.
During the
negotiations, promising areas of economic partnership were discussed.
Czech
companies have been invited to participate in projects for the extraction and
deep processing of copper and other non-ferrous metals, as well as the
localization of mining equipment production.
The issues
of expanding cooperation in the field of hydroelectric power plant
construction, the introduction of cogeneration plants, digitalization of the
industry and improving energy efficiency were discussed.
The
possibilities of creating joint digital products for third-country markets
through the use of the potential of Uzbekistan's IT parks and more than 100,000
industry specialists were discussed.
The sides
exchanged views on the organization of the production of mineral fertilizers,
polymers and household chemicals based on chemical clusters in Uzbekistan, as
well as the implementation of joint projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
The
strategic importance of the geographical location of the two states was
emphasized. Thus, for Uzbekistan, the Czech Republic is an important link in
entering European markets, while for the Czech Republic, our country is the
"gateway" to Central Asia. In this regard, a proposal has been put
forward to establish trading houses and logistics centers on a parity basis.
The Uzbek
side spoke about the opportunities created for Czech investors in special
industrial parks, as well as the benefits provided to European companies.

between the two countries.
As part of
his official visit to our country, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrei
Babis visited the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent, which is not only
a national treasure, but also a pearl of the entire Islamic world.
The Center
of Islamic Civilization is a unique bridge connecting the past and the present
in scientific, educational and historical dimensions. Today, this majestic
complex attracts the attention of the whole world with its scale and
importance.
The visitor
center has prepared handouts, brochures and books in accordance with
international service standards. For the first time in the museum practice of
Uzbekistan, with the involvement of international experts, the chemical
composition and creation time of all museum exhibits have been determined in a
modern chemical and physical laboratory, as well as their technological
passports have been prepared.
The
exhibits have been digitized in accordance with international ISO standards and
posted on a single electronic platform. Based on the requirements of UNESCO and
ICOM, as well as the experience of the world's leading museums, standards and
classifications of labeling exhibits in 8 areas have been developed. By placing
QR codes on each exhibit, visitors can view its video and audio content using a
mobile phone or tablet, initially in three, and later in eight languages.
In
addition, it provides for the use of robot guides, tablets for video and audio
communication, as well as audio guides, radio guides and directional
headphones, as is practiced at the British Museum, the Louvre and the
Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Czech Prime
Minister Andrei Babis, having familiarized himself with the exhibits of the
Center of Islamic Civilization, which houses unique masterpieces comparable to
the collections of the world's leading museums, expressed admiration for the
rich heritage of our ancestors.
In

Tashkent on April 30, during which prospects for further development of
Uzbek-Czech multifaceted cooperation will be considered.
