During the talks, the sides discussed the implementation of joint initiatives in such areas as metallurgy, the agro-industrial sector, the electrical and textile industries, the production of building materials, pharmaceuticals and others.

Specific further steps have been agreed upon to prepare joint industrial facilities in the territories of the two countries for the start of construction work and the launch of production facilities.

In 2025, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $912.3 million with an increase of 30%, including exports of $683 million and imports of $229.3 million. To date, there are more than 500 joint ventures operating in the territories of the two countries: 386 enterprises with Tajik capital in Uzbekistan and 116 enterprises with Uzbek capital in Tajikistan.
