During his 47 years, he left a colossal mark on history and literature. Thus, his historical work "Baburname" is rightfully called "the best work of Turkic prose."

Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, a direct descendant of Amir Temur, was a talented military commander, possessed military prowess and exceptional intelligence. In 1494, he became the ruler of Ferghana, and in 1526 he founded a centralized Baburid state in India. The empire occupied the territories of modern India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and southeastern Afghanistan.

Having created one of the most powerful empires in the history of the East, Babur remained an ardent patriot of his Homeland and sought to establish diplomatic and friendly ties with his hometown of Andijan until the end of his days.
