Abdulaziz Kamilov holds talks with Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

    On 11 April 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, in Doha, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

    The current state and prospects of cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, tourism, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as collaboration within the framework of international structures were discussed.

    The parties confirmed their mutual interest in the development of cooperation, giving it a multifaceted character.

    The Ministers noted with satisfaction the fruitful results of the recent round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries and stressed the need for continuing a constructive dialogue at all levels.

    The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar highly appreciated the current level of interaction aimed at achieving concrete results in all areas. According to the Minister, cooperation with Uzbekistan in enhancing trade-economic ties is one of the priorities in Qatar's foreign policy.

    Special attention was paid to the development of interaction in the cultural-humanitarian and tourism spheres.
