On July 15, 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Member of the CPC Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi, who arrived in Tashkent on an official visit, as well as to attend the High-Level International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities”, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The Foreign Ministers discussed the state and prospects for further deepening Uzbekistan – China comprehensive strategic partnership.
Following the meeting, the Ministers signed a Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and China for 2021-2022.
