27 people were killed in the crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft in Dhaka. This was announced to journalists at a briefing by the representative of the Ministry of Health of the country, Sayedur Rahman, reports tass.ru.
"Among the dead are 25 children, many of whom are less than 12 years old, as well as the pilot of the plane and a teacher," he said.
DNA testing is required to identify some of the dead. More than 170 people were taken to hospitals with burns of varying severity. "We continue to make every possible effort to provide medical care. However, the condition of some patients remains extremely serious," Rahman said.
