Among other things, the Ithra Institute actively supports volunteering and trains young specialists in the field of culture and art, and also has four museums with permanent and temporary collections of contemporary art and an extensive library with the best collections of works dedicated to culture and art.
The purpose of the meeting between the two institutions was a number of issues on the possible organization of joint exhibitions, exchange of experience in organizing residencies for artists and artisans, as well as discussion of various ways to develop and support the sphere of applied arts and crafts.
The negotiations were conducted by Gayane Umerova, Executive Director of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art, Abdullah Al-Rashid, Director of Ithra, and Fatma Al-Rashid, Head of the Strategy and Partnership Department.
