The event is attended by delegations from Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the countries of Central Asia, the Caucasus, Turkey, Russia, Iran and Mongolia.
International organizations and leading airlines joined the work, including the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Delta Air Lines, Air France, KLM, Finnair, and Jeppesen.
The main purpose of the meeting is to develop proposals for optimizing the network of routes and the structure of airspace in Transcaucasia, in the areas of interface between Central Asia and the Middle East, as well as in the Far East of the ICAO European Region.
The Working Group is engaged in planning the introduction of new routes, improving the existing route network and coordinating with States from adjacent ICAO regions.
