According to the Center for Economic Research and Reform, the business activity Index (IDA) in June 2026 amounted to 1,128 points, an increase of 12.8% compared to the previous month. Compared to the same period last year, the increase was 36%.

In June of this year, the following changes were noted in the main components of the IDA:

the component reflecting the number of transactions on bank accounts of business entities increased by 18.7%;

the component characterizing the intensity of purchases of raw materials on the commodity exchange increased by 13.5%;

the component reflecting the number of operating business entities increased by 1.2%;

The trademark registration component increased by 18.5%.

In addition, in June 2026, an increase in the business activity index compared to the previous month was recorded in all regions of the country.

The most significant increase was noted in the Syrdarya region - 51.3%, Surkhandarya region - 49.1%, Namangan region - 47.1% and Khorezm region - 45%.

Interbank payment transactions

In the reporting period, the number of interbank payment transactions amounted to 7,930.9 thousand, which is 1,246.9 thousand transactions (18.7%) more than in May 2026. Compared to the same period last year, the increase was 25.7%.

An increase in the number of interbank payments was observed in all regions.

The most noticeable increase in the number of banking transactions between legal entities was recorded in Kashkadarya region by 25.9%, Jizzakh region by 24.7%, Ferghana region by 23.7% and Syrdarya region by 23%.

The increase is due to an increase in the total number of payment documents processed through the Central Bank's interbank electronic payment system. In particular, compared to May:

the number of memorial orders increased by 24.2% (by 510.9 thousand);

payment orders - by 14.5% (by 620.9 thousand);

payment claims - by 25.6% (by 3.7 thousand);

collection orders - by 40.4% (by 111.3 thousand).

Exchange component

In June 2026, the exchange component of IDA was 1.1350, an increase of 13.5% compared to the previous month.

At the same time, the average volume of goods purchased under one transaction decreased by 3.8%, while the number of concluded transactions increased by 31%.

The total trading volume for 34 main types of goods on the Republican Commodity Exchange reached 9 509 billion soums, which is 27.7% higher than in the previous month.

The main factors contributing to the growth of stock market activity were:

increase in the volume of trade in compound feed - by 12 times;

lint of cotton fiber - 4.2 times;

glass jars - 2.5 times;

gasoline grades AI-91, AI-92 and AI-95 - by an average of 2.1 times.

Current business entities

The component reflecting the number of operating business entities amounted to 1,0120, an increase of 1.2% compared to the previous month.

At the same time:

the total number of operating business entities increased by 10,471 and reached 530.3 thousand;

the number of large enterprises decreased by 46 to 4,649;

The number of small enterprises increased by 9.2 thousand, reaching 435.4 thousand;

the number of farms increased by 1,283, to 90.3 thousand.

Trademark registration

In June 2026, the trademark component was 1.1855, an increase of 18.5% compared to the previous month.

During the reporting period, 473 trademarks and trade names were registered by legal entities.
