Diplomats provided assistance to fellow students who found themselves in a difficult situation in Germany

    The Consulate General of Uzbekistan provided practical assistance to students from Karakalpak State University who came to Germany on the basis of the "Work and Travel" program during the summer season and found themselves in a difficult situation.

    Due to some organizational shortcomings, 14 students who were unable to reach their planned address and place of work from the first day of the visit and were left homeless were taken by staff to the building of the Consulate General of our country thanks to the help of compatriots in Germany, the Dunyo news agency reports.

    The diplomats studied the causes of the problems, conditions, and the fulfillment of employment contracts with local employers. The students were informed about the rules of stay in Germany, the need to observe personal security measures and protect their personal property and documents.

    The Russian students, who found themselves in a difficult situation, were provided with practical assistance in obtaining a place in a hotel for temporary accommodation in Frankfurt am Main.

    At the same time, an agreement was reached with the responsible employees of the German company, which acted as an intermediary in the organization of temporary employment, to take control of the issue of the coordinated employment of these students.
