At the meeting of the First Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism U.Azamov and members of the delegation of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, it was noted that Uzbek-Indonesian relations are developing at a high pace, cooperation in various fields, including culture and art, and tourism is consistently strengthening.
During the dialogue, agreements were reached on increasing the number of tourists entering our country from Indonesia, developing cooperation in the field of Halal tourism, organizing special training courses and advanced training courses for receiving tourists from Indonesia with the participation of tourism associations and universities of Uzbekistan and Indonesia, increasing the number of air travel, holding Days of Culture and Tourism of Uzbekistan in Indonesia in 2024.
The issues of preparing a documentary film "In search of Bukhara" about the life and work of Imam al-Bukhari and the visit of Indonesian President Sukarno to Uzbekistan and the organization of their screening in both countries were also discussed.
