During the meeting, the parties discussed the project of the Committee of Highways on the acquisition of a system for determining the weight and dimensional parameters of vehicles in cooperation with Betamont.

This is the first transport project between Uzbekistan and Slovakia, partially funded by a grant from the Slovak Government.

Betamont is a Slovak technology company specializing in the development of intelligent transport systems (ITS). The main areas of the company's research and development are the fields of automobile and railway transport.

After the successful launch of the pilot project with Betamont, Slovakia's Eximbank expressed its willingness to support other projects involving the country's companies.

Also at the meeting, I. Abdugafarov spoke about the relevance of the project to install WIM systems on busy highways, as well as major projects in the transport sector, including the construction of toll roads Tashkent - Andijan and Tashkent - Samarkand.
