The forum was attended by SCO member states, observers and dialogue partners, including the First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akhmedkhodjayev Azim, Forbes Kazakhstan reports.

Speaking at the forum, the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan recalled that at the initiative of President K.K. Tokayev, a "Strategy for the development of energy cooperation of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization until 2030" was developed. The document plans to expand the SCO agenda in the most promising areas for cooperation in the energy sector in the medium term, which will allow taking into account modern realities.

In addition, the heads of energy departments discussed strategic approaches to the development of energy cooperation, promoting the development of new approaches and developing concrete solutions aimed at ensuring the sustainability and development of the energy sector of the SCO member states, observer states and dialogue partner countries.
