The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for further development of Uzbek-Saudi cooperation with an emphasis on the implementation of agreements reached following the state visit of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the KSA in August 2022.
The commitment of the parties to mutual support within the framework of international institutions was noted.
Proposals for the activation of trade and economic ties and the implementation of industrial cooperation projects were considered.
A schedule of upcoming events and visits has been agreed, including Uzbekistan's participation in the I Biennale of Islamic Art, held from January 23 to April 23 this year in Jeddah.
Separate issues of regional policy were also discussed at the meeting, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
