During the meeting, Bakhtiyor Saidov highly appreciated the successful Chinese presidency and the warm hospitality provided, emphasizing the importance of the strategic documents that are planned to be adopted at the upcoming summit of heads of state: the SCO Development Strategy until 2035, the Tianjin Declaration, as well as initiatives in the field of trade, transport and regional security.

"Against the background of growing global challenges, the Uzbek side noted the importance of maintaining unity within the SCO family. Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to work closely with all Member states for the sake of peace, prosperity and an interconnected future for the entire region," the Minister stressed.
