On August 13, a freight train left the city of Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu Province and headed for Central Asia

According to the leading Chinese newspaper "People's Daily", the freight train carries more than 1 thousand tons of goods, including household appliances and auto parts, with a total market value of 30 million yuan (about 4.4 million US dollars).

The train will arrive in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in about 20 days, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

"As noted in the logistics park of the Western Railway Station in Wuxi, after the outbreak of the pandemic, local foreign trade enterprises began to experience difficulties in exporting goods, and the emergence of a new freight rail route opens up new opportunities for these enterprises," the People's Daily newspaper adds.
