A rampaging elephant has been keeping an entire region in India in terror for ten days. Today, it was reported that the animal killed 22 people, including a herder who attempted to calm it.
The elephant is in a state of "musth"—a condition where testosterone levels increase tenfold. Locals know this is not related to the mating season; rather, the large animal becomes uncontrollably aggressive, attacks everyone, and is nearly impossible to capture. During musth, elephants can travel long distances, and it is best to avoid encountering them. This male elephant has already set a record for the number of victims, reported by m.5-tv.ru.
