    Ilhom Aliyev offered joint military exercises among Turkic states

    In his speech at the Summit of the Heads of State Council of the Organization of Turkic States, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev proposed holding joint military exercises for the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Azerbaijan in 2026. This suggestion is based on the wide-ranging cooperation of our countries in the military, defense, and security spheres.

    the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Gabala, defined new directions for cooperation among all Turkic states. The summit's theme is regional peace and security. Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan are members of the organization. Hungary and Turkmenistan have observer status. The headquarters of the OTS is located in Istanbul, reported by ria.ru
