The happiness index is measured on a scale from -1 to +1. In general, there was an increase in Uzbekistan: if in 2023 the indicator was +0.56, then in 2025 it reached +0.611. This means that in two years the level of family well-being has increased by +0.051. This growth indicates that most families are optimistic about the future, remain confident and are able to overcome difficulties with a sense of gratitude.
By the end of 2025, the highest indicators reflect spiritual and value orientations. The strongest indicators were demographic stability (+0.833), the importance of family values (+0.791) and satisfaction with family life (+0.734). This confirms that having children, paying attention to each other, caring for and adhering to traditions remain the foundation of happiness in families.
The study also showed growth in a number of key areas. Access to education improved by +0.31, job security by +0.22, and satisfaction with government activities by +0.13. A small but positive increase was recorded in demographic stability (+0.01), satisfaction with family conditions (+0.07), and strengthening family values (+0.07). Progress is particularly noticeable in the field of education and employment, which indicates the expansion of opportunities for the population.
The analysis shows that the basis of happiness in Uzbek families remains warm relations, mutual support and moral values. At the same time, the feeling of well-being is increasingly linked to income levels, living conditions, and professional opportunities. This confirms the relevance of the ongoing social and economic policy - supporting young families, expanding educational benefits for women, creating conditions for entrepreneurship and generating additional income.
Preserving spiritual values while improving the quality of life will contribute to the further growth of the family happiness index in the country.
