Iranian media: Israeli military base was hit, 20 planes were shot down

Iran has hit the Israeli Nevatim airbase with a missile strike.

As the Report reports, this is reported by the Tasnim agency.

In addition, according to the Shafaq news agency, during a missile strike by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Iranian Armed Forces) on the territory of the Jewish state, more than 20 F-35 aircraft of the Israeli Air Force were hit.

Iranian hypersonic Fattah missiles also destroyed the Israeli Arrow-2 and Arrow-3 missile defense systems for the first time, the IRIB TV channel reports.

According to the Fars news agency, at least 80% of Iranian missiles were able to overcome the Israeli air defense system and hit targets on the territory of the Jewish state. It is noted that this is only the first wave of strikes and a second one should be expected. At the same time, the Israeli army assured that a new attack is not expected yet.

It should be noted that on October 1, Iran carried out a massive missile attack on Israel. In this regard, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon have closed their airspace.
