According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the implementation of a complex of operational search measures and information exchange with foreign colleagues in the Sultanate of Oman, the location and further detention of the wanted criminals were established, and on May 23 of this year, the staff of the Interpol National Security Service in the Republic of Uzbekistan extradited two criminals wanted for fraud and human trafficking.
To carry out the extradition process of the person involved, who is wanted for fraud, an escort group left for the city of Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman. During a meeting with colleagues of the Interpol National Security Committee of Muscat, it became known about the detention of another criminal wanted internationally for human trafficking by law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan. As a result of the meeting, it was possible to reach an agreement on the implementation of simplified extradition.
Thus, thanks to the established partnerships and joint bilateral efforts, the wanted persons were handed over to the staff of the Interpol National Security Service in the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to stand trial and receive the deserved punishment.
