Women from low-income families will receive recommendations for admission to university

    Women from low-income families, upon admission to higher education institutions, are given a recommendation to participate in the competition as part of admission on the basis of a state grant.

    The recommendation is given to the following girls based on the following criteria:

    • girls from low-income families;
    • girls in need of social protection who are brought up in a single-parent family where there is only a father or mother, or both of them have died;
    • women in need of social protection, whose spouse has died, raising a minor child alone;
    • women from low-income families with disabled children;
    • daughters of single women, raising 2 or more children, living separately from their relatives;
    • girls from low-income families, one or both of whose parents are disabled of group I or II.

    For recommendations, it is necessary to contact the district (city) departments for mahalla (neighborhood) and family support in electronic form, the Ministry of Justice reports.
