The report said: “The achievement is the result of the dedicated work of dehkan and farmers, machine operators, irrigators, and specialists in all fields”.
It is reported that cotton was cultivated on 67,000 hectares in the region, and effective agricultural technologies were introduced. In some farms, the harvest reached up to 90 centners per hectare.
Nearly 300 modern machineries were involved in the cotton harvest.
To improve water supply, 66 kilometers of canals were cleaned, and 27,000 hectares of land were provided with water.
