"The Interdepartmental Commission for the Prevention and Spread of Coronavirus Infection in Kazakhstan, taking into account the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, decided from April 11, 2022 to lift restrictions on the crossing of the state border by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stateless persons and foreigners at land checkpoints with Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan," the government website reports.
Also, all restrictions on crossing the state border by air are lifted.
At the same time, the requirement remains for the mandatory presentation of a certificate with a negative result of a study on COVID-19 by PCR or a document / passport on the passage of a full course of vaccination, revaccination against COVID-19 to Kazakhstanis and foreigners with a residence permit in Kazakhstan, and foreign citizens in the presence of mutual recognition of vaccination passports.
