According to the press service of Uzbekistan Airports, the reason for landing was a passenger who had a heart attack. The crew decided to go to the alternate airfield due to the deterioration of the passenger's well-being.

After landing at the airport, the passenger was picked up by an ambulance and hospitalized in a medical institution to provide qualified medical care.
