Agreements worth more than 1.4 billion euros have been signed between AMMC and European companies

    During the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev to the Federal Republic of Germany, a number of negotiations were held between the management of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine and representatives of major European companies.

    During the meetings, agreements were signed between AGMK and the world's largest bank KFW IPEX on financing a new copper smelter, which has no analogues in Central Asian countries.

    Agreements have also been signed with Falk-Porsche-Technik GmbH for the production of 50 thousand tons of copper wire rod. The agreement provides for the creation of an additional 100 jobs and the production of export-oriented products worth more than $ 450 million.

    An agreement has been signed with Falk-Porsche-Technik GmbH to organize the production of polymer concrete baths for a new copper smelter under construction. The volume of annual production will be more than $ 24 million.

    During the visit, an agreement was reached with MENZEL, a company producing high-voltage electric motors and generators, to create a joint venture, a service center and a transfer plant for the production of electric motors. The preliminary cost of the new production is estimated at 15 million euros.

    To meet the needs of the new Yoshlik field under construction for composite and fiberglass products, an agreement was signed with Fiberpipe to organize joint production.

    In order to organize continuous work on training and advanced training of personnel, an agreement was signed between AGMK and the European company GP Günter Papenburg AG on the training of technical personnel of the plant in educational institutions of European countries.

    Within the framework of the visit, a joint venture was established with ABM (Anlagenbau und Maschinentechnik GmbH) to produce machines with an annual turnover of 15 million euros.

    Another important agreement has been reached with the world's largest metallurgical company Aurubis AG for the supply of AGMK copper products.

    It should be noted that due to the policy pursued in the republic aimed at openness of Uzbekistan to cooperation, during this visit, a package of documents worth more than 1,450.2 million euros was signed between AGMK and European companies.
