Negotiations with a delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov took place at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan on April 25, 2022.

As the First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azim Akhmedkhadjayev noted during the meeting, the parties have been actively discussing various projects for effective cooperation recently.

During the negotiations, in particular, the issue of promoting a partnership with TESC LLC with the aim of producing and supplying linear SIP fittings for modernization, reconstruction and construction of new transmission lines up to 110 kV was discussed. On the Uzbek side, a proposal was made to study the issue of establishing production on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Uzeltehsanoat JSC identified as a partner from the Uzbek side.

As a successful example of joint cooperation, we can cite the project to create a network of gas stations of PJSC Tatneft in the country. On the part of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, an additional list consisting of seven gas stations has been proposed, and an evaluation of these projects has begun.

The working group of PJSC Tatneft and JSC Uzbekneftegaz also analyzes joint projects of low-tonnage chemistry in order to determine the optimal technical and economic conditions for their implementation. Among the proposals are the production of Butene-1, Hexene-1, polyoxymethylene and other types of products.

It should be noted that the parties are working on the development of filling stations for electric cars with their subsequent localization. Positive momentum was noted in cooperation with such companies as KMPO, KER Holding, Energy Development, AZATOM.

Another promising area of cooperation is the digitalization of the oil and gas sector. In this direction, a framework agreement was signed in March this year between the Ministry of Energy and ER-Telecom Holding. It is planned to organize a visit of the company's working group to Uzbekistan for the purpose of a substantive discussion of the partnership.
