The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan took part in the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit in Doha

    On September 15, an extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit was held in Doha, attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.

    During the summit, the address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to its participants was announced. In the message, the Head of State expressed Uzbekistan's firm solidarity with the brotherly people of Qatar and all Muslim countries, strongly condemning the recent military aggression that threatens peace and stability in the Middle East.

    Uzbekistan has reaffirmed its unchanged position:

    All conflicts must be resolved peacefully and through diplomacy.;

    The international community must take urgent measures to end the violence and prevent further escalation.;

    The legitimate right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent State in accordance with UN resolutions must be respected.;

    Uzbekistan is ready to provide humanitarian assistance to the victims, which has already been demonstrated by hosting and supporting a group of Palestinian citizens in our country.

    The Summit has become an important platform for demonstrating unity and developing coordinated joint solutions aimed at ensuring lasting peace and security in the region.
