During the meeting, the current state of bilateral cooperation in the fields of investment, industry, trade and transport was discussed. The course of implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Tajikistan in June last year was discussed.

The parties discussed priority areas for the development of investment cooperation, and also agreed to intensify joint work on the implementation of industrial cooperation projects and improve conditions for the development of mutual trade by consistently abolishing existing tariff and non-tariff measures and facilitating access of Uzbek and Tajik products to the markets of the two countries.

The constructive dialogue allowed us to identify the existing issues in detail and develop optimal solutions to solve them. Further joint actions are planned to promote the ongoing projects, as well as new directions for expanding mutually beneficial economic partnership.
