This site was prepared for deep exploratory drilling based on the results of 3D seismic surveys conducted by "Uzbekgeofizika" JSC and the "Institute of Geology and Prospecting of Oil and Gas Fields" under the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology.
Notably, the well was drilled by qualified specialists from the company and its Project Management Office. In accordance with the President's instructions, this office is composed of specialists who have gained experience in modern foreign oil and gas companies.
On January 10, 2026, the well was drilled to a depth of 5,265 meters, and natural gas deposits were identified in the lower Jurassic layers between the depths of 5,061 - 5,265 meters.
In order to further study the geological structure of the lower Jurassic layers and determine the boundaries of gas reserves, it is planned to drill the next exploration wells, No.3 and No.4, in this area.
