So, on May 19 of this year, on the territory of the Yunusabad Dehkan market, a police inspector, private Izzatbek Ibragimov, stopped a suspicious citizen to check his documents. However, he suddenly attacked the inspector with a sharp object and inflicted a severe wound in the neck area, after which he tried to escape by climbing into a nearby bus with a knife in his hands.

Thanks to the prompt actions of Senior Sergeant Samat Karjanbayev, Private Sardor Abzalov and prevention inspector Lieutenant Uktam Normamatov, who were nearby, passengers were quickly evacuated from the bus, and the attacker was neutralized and detained using special means and physical force. Citizen Vladimir Avdiyans also provided active assistance in the detention, showing a real civic duty.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan highly appreciated the actions of all participants. At a solemn event held at the Tashkent city Police Department, citizen Vladimir Avdiyans was awarded a Commendation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and received a cash prize of 10 million soums.

On the basis of the relevant order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Senior Sergeant S. Karjanbayev and Private S. Abzalov were awarded the badge "For Excellent Service", Lieutenant U. Normamatov was awarded the special rank of "Senior lieutenant" ahead of schedule as a reward.
