The authorized Subsidiary of Sogdiana Trans, Uzbekistan Temir Yo’llari JSC, has been operating the railway section on Afghan territory since 2011.
Taking into account the prospects for the implementation of the Termez-Mazar-I-Sharif- Kabul-Peshawar railway line project and the need to start training local Afghan specialists, since 2019, training is being conducted at the training center in the city of Termez, with further internships directly at the workplace.
In this regard, the parties are also discussing the possibility of attracting Afghan technical personnel provided by the Afghan Railway Administration during the operation of the Hairaton-Mazar-I-Sharif railway section.
