The event, which was held by Minister Adham Ikramov, was attended by the leadership of the Ministry and the NOC, responsible persons of Republican Schools of Higher Sports Skills.
The meeting began with a discussion of preparations for the Youth Asian and Para-Asian Games "Tashkent-2025". During the conversation, all aspects related to the upcoming competitions were discussed in detail, in particular, the dates of the event, the sports that will be included in it, the transport and logistics system, the announcement of a competition to identify a suitable competition logo and other attributes, the definition of facilities where competitions and training will be held.
Adham Ilhamovich, dwelling on each issue separately, stressed that the tasks set should be carried out at a professional level. Also, the responsible persons of the Federations have a clear task, together with the schools of Higher Sports skills, to once again consider the sports included in the competition program, based on this, to distribute the day of the games and sports facilities.
During the event, NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasimov made a presentation of the Directorate for the Youth Asian and Para-Asian Games "Tashkent-2025". In addition, the agenda discussed the tasks of including national sports in the competition program, the formation of the composition of teckball and other demonstration sports.
Preparations for Hangzhou-2022 were also discussed in detail at the meeting. In this regard, the deputy chairman of the NOC, Sherzod Tashmatov, presented preliminary calculated data on the preparation of national teams, as well as sports that will be represented in competitions, the forecast in winning medals. In conclusion, it was noted that it is necessary to once again analyze the training plan of all sports teams, consider the contingent of athletes.
