The main theme of the event, which was held in the format of a field seminar, was the quality of services provided to passengers, starting from the threshold of the station to the seat on the train, including services and a comfortable stay in route.

It was noted that currently 62 trains are running in domestic traffic in Uzbekistan to meet the demand of passengers, 45 in suburban traffic, 6 of them electric trains. Specialists who are directly connected with passenger service are annually sent to the Tashkent State Transport University for advanced training. The infrastructure of railway lines and facilities related to passenger transportation is being updated and modernized every year.

At the same time, the work of personnel directly communicating with passengers, that is, train crews (train drivers, foremen, conductors, stewards) was critically analyzed. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of improving the culture of communication and the level of service provided. Those involved were given tasks to strengthen work in this direction, bringing to everyone responsible the importance of attentive, sensitive and respectful attitude to each passenger.

No less important attention was paid to such issues of the organization of passenger transportation as conditions, quality and comfort in a passenger car. The management of the Management Board was clearly demonstrated the measures taken to improve the services. A report was announced regarding the planned innovations. In particular, the presented exposition demonstrated such solutions as conceptual updating of the interior design of wagons. For example, each train direction will reflect the peculiar ethnic flavor of the region where it follows. And as you know, each region of Uzbekistan has its own unique recognizable ornament, unique beauty and rich history.

As a result of the seminar, specific tasks were given for the radical transformation of conditions in passenger trains, the information and analytical media center "Uzbekistan Temir Yullari" reports.
